4th February - Life of Pi

In Canada, a writer visits the Indian storyteller Pi Patel and he tells his life story. One day, his father, a zoo owner, explains that the municipality is no longer supporting the zoo and he has decided to move to Canada, where the animals would also be sold. They board on a Japanese cargo ship with the animals and suffer a storm. They are adrift in the Pacific Ocean, where Pi needs to find a way to survive.

11th February - Walk the Line

While growing up in the Great Depression era, Johnny Cash takes an interest in music and joins the air force in Germany. While there, his music success grows, and he proposes to Vivian. He meets the already famous and beautiful June Carter while on tour, and an unspoken relationship grows between the two of them.

18th February – A Hard Day’s Night

A day and a half in the life of The Beatles leading up to a televised concert gig. The boys seem to be constantly on the run, from their crazed fans and from their manager, who is constantly trying to rein them in. Sir Ringo Starr is arrested and isn't in the studio half an hour before air time. With Sir Paul McCartney's grandfather available for additional comical relief, the group performs a dozen or so songs.






25th February – Dan in Real Life

Single father Dan Burns dedicates his life to his children, but one day he meets Marie at a bookstore. They get to know each other, but then Dan finds out that Marie is actually dating his brother, Mitch.
